Skullcandy Hesh is a well named product simply because the beautiful, clear sound that Skullcandy Hesh headphones produces is literally like a form of candy for the brain, if, of course, you love a clear, powerful sound. If youre a music lover like me youll find that a good pair of headphones like the Skullcandy Hesh is indispensable to enjoying a fantastic sound!
A Huge Difference In Sound
Before I bought my Skullcandy Hesh headphones I had only ever owned the cheap drugstore headphones or default headphones that came with my music devices. What a difference! The quality of these headphones makes me feel like Im at a live concert. The music just blows me out of the water.
The noise cancelling properties of the snugly fitting leather ear cups do a lot to immerse me in the music that Im listening to. Yet I don't feel like Im disturbing anybody else, nor do I actually have to crank the volume to hear everything this well. The sound delivery system matters, and the Skullcandy Hesh headphones have one of the best sound delivery systems that Ive ever experienced.
Not At All Uncomfortable
Some headphones squeeze your head. Some headphones hurt your ears. The Skullcandy Hesh didnt do either one of these things. In fact, it was very lightweight. The fit was tight without pinching. The leather ear cups feel much better than earbuds, which have always seemed uncomfortable to me. You do have to adjust them to fit your own head, of course.
I do recommend that you get the extension cord as the cord is a little bit short. I run these headphones to my computer on a regular basis and its just far more comfortable for me to do this with the extension cord.
I Had Fun With The Style
Black headphones kind of bore me, but I love anything red. I had fun with my bright red Skullcandy Hesh headphones. They stand out and give you a bit of style to play with. Most people dont wear their headphones as a fashion accessory, its true, but theres nothing at all wrong with adding some quirky fun to the mix.
A Few Caveats
If you wear your headphones too tight or treat them roughly, you are going to break them. Some people have complained about this, but honestly headphones are rarely meant to be treated roughly in the first place. I broke my very first pair, and thats the bad news.
The good news is that Skullcandy is not one of those companies that gives you trouble about your limited lifetime warranty. Customer service was helpful, friendly, and polite who made everything painless. They told me how to send back my Skullcandy Hesh headphones so that I would get a replacement. They never lied and they never inflated their claims. I feel a great deal of loyalty to this company based on the exceptional customer service alone.

I would absolutely recommend Skullcandy Hesh headphones to a friend or family member, without reservation. I also want to note that they make especially good gifts for teenagers, who also adore the personal statement that you can make with the headphone design and the ability to listen to their music without annoying the adults all around them.
